Public talk (8 August)
8 August — Public talk “Solar and Lunar Eclipses”, given by Luis Eusebio Vadillo, graduate in Physics.
12 August — eclipse day
Pools, music, eclipse and Perseids
Municipal pools open next to the observation point (tickets at the pool box office). Live music at the municipal sports complex, where the pools and the observation point are located. After the eclipse, Perseids observation organised by the Luz de Candelas Cultural Association.

A guest book will be set up at the Alcazarén pilgrims' hostel so that pilgrims can share their experience of the eclipse on the Camino de Santiago.
